Color options:
A picture is worth a thousand words. Many factors influence one's perception of images and colors, and they may appear different from one photo to the next. The angle of light and time of day greatly affect perception, and printed in ink cannot exactly match the actual concrete product colors. Once you have narrowed your choices, obtain actual samples from your dealer or contractor. View them in the setting where they will be installed before making your final decision.
Pattern options:
While Portsmouth Cobble can be placed in the order of their arrangement on the pallet, the 4 different sizes are intended to replicate natural stone “settes”. As such, achieving a faithful running bond where each course is off-set in the middle from the previous row is not necessary. When installing, re-positon the order of the 4 sizes of stones in a random fashion to achieve the appearance of the pavement you desire. Adjust as necessary. Make sure the units are placed snug to each other with the spacers touching. When ready, compact the pavers into place using a compactor with a urethane pad attached to the bottom plate. If using polymeric sand, follow the sand manufacturer’s directions on sweeping, compacting and activating the sand. For permeable applications, sweep #9 open-graded chip stone into the joints when compacting.Applications:
